Bell Sports engaged Double Forte to conduct a national launch for its new line of custom-fit women’s workout equipment under its Savasa brand. The challenge: distribution was limited and budget was tight.

To drive awareness of the new product line, Double Forte concentrated its efforts on a two-pronged media relations outreach program 1) to drive national and regional print, online and radio placement from fitness, health and lifestyle writers, and 2) a holiday-gift campaign within price categories to drive holiday gift purchase.

Double Forte worked with women’s fitness guru JoDene Sparks to create customized tip sheets for the different target audiences of women, along with a suite of interesting materials and factoids to encourage trial and coverage. In addition, we conducted an extensive product review program to get the equipment into the hands of as many reporters, columnists and producers as possible.

We also created a ready-for-broadcast audio snippet for regional radio pickup around the country.
