Brian Stevens
Brian Stevens is a seasoned specialist in strategic brand building through creative communications with 15 years of experience in global marketing, corporate communications, public relations, and community outreach.
Prior to joining Double Forte, Brian was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Great White Shark Enterprises (GWSE), a multinational corporation headed by celebrated professional golfer Greg Norman with annual revenues exceeding $300 million. There he spent seven years managing all branding, global media, public relations and advertising for the myriad businesses (wine, restaurants, beef, apparel and two PGA Tour-sanctioned events), and was the official Greg Norman spokesperson.
Prior to GWSE, Brian worked for VertaPort, CBS Sports and the PGA Tour.
While at VertaPort, Brian directed website development for a software company that specialized in identifying and leveraging untapped revenue opportunities through technology solutions. He was responsible for designing, planning and allocating resources while managing a team of five designers, developers and producers.
Brian was employed by CBS Sports when its online division completed a successful merger with GolfWeb and PGATour.com. His responsibilities included managing all national and international golf content with a staff of 12 staff writers, columnists and contributors.
He has a B.S in Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and is ecstatic to live in the Bay Area, where golf can be played year-round without a parka.
